Roland Andre Delattre, 1929-2007

We were saddened to hear that distinguished Jonathan Edwards scholar Roland Andre Delattre died on April 17th, 2007. Professor of American Studies and Religious Studies at the University of Minnesota, he was the author of the seminal work on Edwardsean aesthetics, Beauty and Sensibility in the Thought of Jonathan Edwards: An Essay in Aesthetics and Theological Ethics. With this important volume, Professor Delattre made a lasting contribution to Edwards studies in the 20th century.
