Marsden's biography is the ultimate, surely!
Michael McClymond's _Encounters with God_ was by far the the most thought-provoking and illuminating (though falling short of a divine and supernatural light, of course) work on Edwards I've read.
John Piper's book: "God's passion for His Glory" containing the Jonathan Edwards essay: The end for which God created the World. I would give the book: " The Divine Decrees", second place. Also the sermon books put together by Michael D. McMullen almost got my first vote as well.
